Since we’re in a new year and I finally got some time, I went ahead and cleaned up some of our old Blog posts. Would like to start getting this back up and running. I’m going to start posting upcoming activities, announcements and info here so make sure you check in often. If you’re not a member  you can sign up simply by clicking on Login and sign up. Its free and anyone can join! Just make sure you are aware of the rules and that this IS a church based blog, and is moderated daily.

The blog has become pretty popular, and its growing daily but let us keep in mind what we’re about. To glorify and honor the Lord. In so doing one of the best ways to do this is to intercede for one another in one accord. I’ve created this specific section of the blog for prayer requests. Regardless how minor or major those prayers and needs are to you, remember, they’re all just answered prayers in God’s que.

So if you have a prayer request you’d like the rest of us to help you with, please, post it here, even if it is an unspoken. Be as detailed as you can. Remember ‘we have not because we ask not’. Let’s not be the type Christian who assumes God will supply our needs because he knows what we have need of. He wants to fellowship with us in prayer.

If you have a prayer answered or an update on your requests please don’t add a new comment, just edit your own simply by chosing the edit option by your name. Make sure we know it is an update. God Bless!

Ahhh, Cassi learned this song a while back. She loves this song. Its true, train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old it won’t depart from him! Funny cute and TRUE little song from the biggest Creationists on this blog and in this church. ENJOY!!

Ok, folks, here is the deal. Bro Chanc and I can”t necessarily spend every waking moment on this website, both of us have big boy responsibilities. We need a few moderators to help weed out the tares so to speak.

What we”re gonna do is give two or three of you  moderator status. Other than just users who can make comments, a moderator has the ability to post new categories, create new message boards, edit/deny/authorize/delete comments from other users and basically have power over the blog.

A wise man once said “with great power comes great responsibility”, (no it wasn”t Solomon, it was that guy who played Peter Parkers uncle in Spiderman). Anyway, with this status you have a great deal of power here on this site which we really want to great! Bro Chanc and I are gonna keep an eye on users, how often you log in, how much you comment or post and by your character if we believe you”re responsible enough to hold this position. Your Christian character is what we”ll be looking for.

We”ll make our decision and see whoever shows the most interest on this blog and is responsible we”ll be making them our slave…. uh, er… moderator…If you think you”re the best person for the job, comment here in this section and let us know why. We”ll decide when the posting is done! Good luck!’

Finally, we”ve finished the Harmony Street Baptist Blog. We”ve put some work into all this to give you a place to come, chat, fellowship and share whatever is on your heart. Below are just a few rules and regulations you need to be aware of. This site is a Christian site and will be moderated on a Christian level.

If any of this offends you, please note, this is what we believe and we”re not forcing our belief on anyone.
